How to manufacture an Implant?
Before implant treatment, an examination is performed and information about your general health status is obtained. If necessary, you may be asked for some tests (diabetes, vascular diseases, etc.). The bone density required for the implant is measured, the anatomical formations, the type and the number of implants to be placed are determined. In the past, implantation could not be performed in patients with low bone density and support. However, this situation has been significantly overcome with surgical materials and techniques developed in recent years.
Implant treatment is started under local anesthesia in clinical setting. In patients who are worried about surgical operations, implantation is started using “sedation”. After the anesthesia procedure, the gingiva is opened by surgical operation and the mandible is exposed. A small diameter guide hole is drilled into the resulting mandible. The guide hole is then gently expanded to match the form into which the implant will be placed. The gradual widening of the hole in the mandible reduces the traumatic effect on the bone. The implant is then screwed into the opening in the mandible. After insertion of the implant screw, a protective cover screw is placed over the implant to allow osseointegration in the region to occur and allow the implanted area to heal. The opened gingiva is closed by suturing and a waiting period of several months is started. After a few months, the protective screw is removed and a temporary crown (temporary tooth) is placed on the implant. Implament angled abutments are designed entirely to the patient's oral and dental structure and have no waiting time. Thanks to its design suitable for the individual abutment prosthesis, it both meets the incoming chewing forces better and is more stable and stable. Very poor results are obtained if the standard abutment is milled in unskilled hands. Dental laboratories are milling standard abutments on the model with hands. They determine their height, angle and gingiva level themselves. After the treatment is completed, your recovery will accelerate with the advice of your doctors and medication.
